Going Private

As the adoption is getting closer and we want to share more specific information about what is going on, we have decided to make this blog a private one. We really want this to be a place for friends and family to keep up-to-date with the process, but we can't give many details with a public blog. So, private it must be.

If you would like an invitation to be a "reader", please leave a comment or send us an email. Be sure to let us know what email you'd like us to use to register you as a reader. In about a week, we'll change the settings on this blog to make it accessible to invited readers only. (You'll receive an email "invitation" to sign up.)

I'm looking forward to being able to share much more openly about our family and this adoption process.

Hi Kerry,

I don't comment much, but I do enjoy following your story here. I do tend to forget to read private blogs because they don't feed into my blog reader, but I'd love to be added and if you mention you posted something on your other blog, I'm likely to check in. :)

Hi Kerry - I'd love an invite, if that's ok.

You all are very much in my prayers these days, and it's very exciting to hear how things are changing and moving along for you. I look forward to reading more about your journey and traveling it with you. Will continue praying...

Hi Kerry, I'd love to be added, though I won't be offended if you say no, as you only know me online!

Kerry,

I would love to be invited to be a reader! You were there when I first held my baby and I really want to follow along with you on your journey. Please use my yahoo address that you already have with our travel group.

Hi, Kerry!

I'd love to follow... Please let me know if there are any "public" intentions you'd like listed at EMN. Sounds very exciting!

Blessings,

Hi,
It is wonderful that you are considering adoption form Ghana!
We are doing an independent adoption so we are not using an agency. I was very nervous about not using an agency at first, then I met a few people who had completed independent adoptions in Ghana and their process seemed to go fairly smoothly. We have not adopted before so we really don't have anything to compare it to, but it seems to be going smoothly.
Who is the agency you are considering? I would be happy to give you any information that I have, just let me know if you have any questions.
